The government is providing $245 million in capital funding over the next two years to build new classrooms and renovate existing ones to support the implementation of full-day kindergarten. We estimate that the funding will support over 750 new full-day kindergarten classrooms through retrofits and additions, resulting in the creation of 19,500 full-day kindergarten spaces.  more
