It’s the process of melting or ‘fusing’ 2 or more layers of sheet glass together to form a single piece of glass. Decorative techniques can be applied between the layers of glass or on the surface before firing. It is also possible to create 3D objects such as bowls by ‘slumping’ the glass in a second firing onto a mould.
